172 weird noise on start up?

as i put the ignition on a noise comes from the bay like a motor is trying to go really hard to explain, like eeee eeee eeeee eeee then stops once u start the engine, or itll stop after 3/4 times?

is it common or does anyone actually understand what i mean?

Fuel pump? Think mine does this.

it does sound like fuel pump just a few whur type noises but doesnt stop it from starting, its probly normal, just a little concerned!

Its the throttle body assuming its a Ph2? No idea why it does it just does.

kind of?hard to judge, started my mates 172 up earlier made the same noise so think its normal

that sounds too high pitched but hey im confident its ok!
