172 Whurring noise coming from interior light?

When i start the car up in the morning i get a whurring/buzzing noise coming from the courtesy light above my head which is really annoying anyone else had it and does it just unclip from the roof of the car?

Do you have climate control?

There is a fan in the light that pulls air over the temp sensor for the CC computer. I've heard you can try oiling it or something but haven't tried it on mine yet.

I think someone did a guide.

Ahhhhh yeah reckon thats what it is didnt realise theres a fan there, nice one!

Mines same mate, its the fan as said... I just try not to leave the ignition on without the engine running, Can't hear it when it is lol
