172 window not working, drivers side

checked my fuses and everything is ok there, but my drivers side wont work, any ideas lads?

my regulator went but I heard a snap, so that could be a possibility, but can you hear anything when trying to open it?

i think i can hear the fuse clicking but not sure, nothing from the door,

where is the regulator and would it only affect the one door?

take the door panel off mate to inspect properly and test to see if you get 12 volts at the plug for the motor when the switch pressed to open where are you baseed?

yea if it was the reg it would only affect one window and it behind the door panel

i'm in durham mate, near newcastle.
will the panel come off cleanly, ie no glue, dont wanna mess the interior up.

just unplugged the wiring harness for the window switch, unplugged it then plugged it back in and hey presto, window is now working, wtf?
