Just keep the revs in the power band because boy do those scoobies have some turbo lag.

And what if the scooby boys keep their revs in the power band? :p

Civic will have no chance.

The new WRX (2.5t, yummy), depending on track, will beat a 172 or it'll be damn close (although I've only driven the older 2 litre WRX)

The older WRX, again depending on track, should convincingly beat the 172 I'm afraid :(

We were at bedford in december on a very wet day and nothing could touch the 182 or atleast nothing overtook us - porsches, vxts, exiges, elises, ctr etc attended.

The last of the line classic WRX's had 280 hp.

But they didn't have the IC waterspray and more importantly, the closed deck block of the STIs

Civic..well, it's not going to do well on the track

It's a sport then. Sorry I seem to have caused so much confusion haha. It's got a bit fat S on the sills and on other bits I think so I thought it was the type S. Can't wait to get out somewhere now, looks like it'll all depend on the quality of the scooby drivers. I'll see if I can get a cam set up when we go. Oooh, and I'll make sure I get the back seats out and have a s**t first. My helmet's about 8 years old, hope that's ok for them. I'm sure you used to have them checked every 5 or something and they put a gold sticker on. Others will be renting anyway so will see on the day. Feel like a little kid lol
