I'm possitive phillips do a bluevision upgrade in the d2s even more bright light on the road and they are really good, they def do an upgrade from a std d2s's

Lumens is the quantity of actual light the bulbs emite. The higher the lumens, the better you'll see what's in front of you.

Now, Lumens decrease as ºK increase. And the higher the ºK, the "bluer" the light gets.

So I recommend that you don't go above 6000ºK, but IMO, the best choice would be around 4200ºK.

Isn't the standard bulbd around 4200k ?

If your bulb is HID then yes philips do a bluevision upgrade the info is on that link, i've got HID headlights and i've got H7 bluevision's as my main beam the light that comes out is awsome their a blue tint bulb but gives a bright white light awsome bulbs, the front fog is a H3C i believe don't do a upgrade yet just a standard one


How much wee your h7 blue visions as full beam if you dont mind me asking

Their retailed @ £29.99 i got mine at staff discount while i was working at discount autoparts can't get that price now:cry: , i would say i can get them roughly £27 for the pair and you get the 501 wedgy bulbs in with it there bluevision too

I have blue visions in my full beam, and it makes a huge difference. No point changing the hid bulbs though imo

Stick with philips, there uv protected also if you manged to get water in your headlights with std halogen bulbs the bulb will explode if you got a philips bulb in it wont explode the philips bulbs are quartz glass allot of the bulbs on the market are hard glass which are very poor in quality

The GT150 are suppose to be the brightest road legal bulb you can buy on the market, that's what the rep from philips said a while back like, those 2 are a about equel i'd say, me personaly go for the bluevision i've had customers come back in the shop after they baught them and said thanks for the advice they were really good
