Im pretty sure they will fit, but you will need some very low profile tyres to go with them.

hence why no1 has fitted 18's to a 172!its not the rite car to do it to! if u just wnt looks and the bragging rights to say you have 18's on your car buy somthing that will pull it off!172's are for driving experience, handling and driving fast!

plus mate your gonna spend alot of money pulling it off! :approve: peace out

I think people just don't understand why you would want to fit them.

Your gearing and speedo will be well out too.

Is your car lowered at all?

19s fit on a clio with very minor arch mods.

For 18s, I'd remove the arch linings, Roll the rear arches, get a 215/30 tyre and lower 40mm.

18s fit on a clio 1.2 and lowered 60mm with no arch mods, DJJOHNNYB has 18" Brooklyns on his. IIRC he has lost a bit of full lock, and dont think he can have many people in the back.

Id go for 18's, lowered 40mm on coilovers, not springs though. This way it wont look silly, wont be too compromising on the ride quality.. Coilovers are also thinner which gives you more room

The problems come when lowering TBH, 19s fit on a stadnard car offset dependant, as long as you have coilovers, its just you cant lower it or have people in the back.

Cause you are there telling people what they can and cant do to their car and then commited the worst modification sin of all, the replica. If you cant afford/insure one, wait till you can!

lol...

I didn't make it into a sport rep. I bought it to break and make money on. Hence all my For Sale threads.

Please quote where I told him what he can and cannot do to his car?

Cheers buddy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
