180 bhp

ive had my 172 remaped ,de cat pipe ,and pipercross panal filter and when i got it rolling roaded it only made 180 bhp dose this sound about rite:S

Sounds good m8. They tend not to make std power but it varies from engine to engine and RR to RR. Did you get a RR before the mods. Best thing to do to see the difference as on that RR yours might have come out as 175 or more to start with.

I would have thought with those mods 180bhp is very good if it was 170 to start with

i had mine rolling roaded a month ago, mines standard bar a cat bk exhaust and mine made 140.6@ the wheels, and 173.3 @ the fly, so id say the flywheel bhp is slightly optomistic, but the wheel bhp is good, was the gearbox warm when it was on the rollers? mine went up to 143 @ thw wheels on the 2nd run, due to the box oil being thinner lol

Mine made 138bhp at the wheels, and 158.8bhp at the fly standard.

i take it the gearbox was warm it had just been raced for bout 10 miles with 2 astra gsi (red tops)it came out betta then them tho

Rolling road Rolling road....the figure is only useful if you had it done before then after so you cud say you got a XXBHP gain from them mods.
