182 alarm

anybody whos got a 182 or 172, when i lock my car it just makes the sound of the locks locking but every now and again it occasionally beeps three times? Is this normal, or should it beep everytime, im confused?

Isnt three beeps signaling the internal sensor is off?

Should only beep to inform you of an event, such as the interior ultrasonics being disabled, or the alarm has been triggered!

How do you turn off the inside sensors but lock and alarm by the way.. (my book is in the garage )

i hope not as all i did was press the key like i always do, it just seems that twice in the last week it has beeped at me but i havent done anything different.

Turn the ignition on & off twice (quickly) then lock as normal...

theyll be an audible beep for a few seconds to tell you there switched off.only works the once though.next time you lock it the ultrasonics are back on unless you do the procedure again.
