182 annoying noise

well still aint found the problem which is causeing the noise on my 182 it seems to be the exhaust but can not tell where the hell it is coming from. it also now makes a sound like pop corn cooking when im not moving and just sit there and rev to about 3000. the noise after 3000 is still there so i take it it must have a big hole somewhere?

any ideas welcome

centre section of exhaust, give it a bang and if it rattles its shagged, mine was after 3k miles

yeah checked that already shaun but couldnt see any problems. will try it again and see what happends as the noise is even louder than before.

Dont worry about the popcorn noise they all do it, its the heat expansion in the Catalytic converter. Mine does it as well and it wont do it as long as its red hot.
