It's common sense.

If he didn't want it discussed (both sides of the discussion) then why did he post it? So therefore, I am allowed to post my thoughts/advice. Neither of us know his circumstances but we both posted our advice. So why are you not a c**t for giving him, what people may view, bad advice? I respect what you posted, even though I don't agree.

Agree'd...I paid 1400 i think at 18 for a 172, so no as crazy at 2.5k...

as i'm sure has been said already (but i can't be doing with going through all these threads!).... at 18, you'll be a lucky boy! go for it if you can afford to get stung on the insurance! I had a 1.8 at 19 and thought that was quick, you'll be loving the 182! ;-)
