182 brakes on a 1.2 16v?

HI I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a conversation kit for 182 brake so that they fit on a 1.2 and if so could you point in the the direction of getting one?

Isnt the bolt spacing the same? So youd need 182 discs (280mm) and pads. But not entirely sure

I have all the discs, calipers and pads but the bolt spacing on the 182 calipers are further apart

Would need the hubs, the correct bolt spacing on the shocks to go with the hubs.

Probably a few other things too.

Id just uprate the pads in that case, they do ds2500 for the 1.2 calipers

Bit overkill to convert the brakes really.

Can't really go quick enough in a 1.2

I'd save the money and buy a 182 when you can insure one.

Don't forget to declare mods to the insurance.

They will increase your policy, even for a brake upgrade so weigh up if it's actually worth it first.

Probably the most pointless thing to do to a Clio.. the 1.2's are massively over-braked as it is. If you're struggling to stop, suggest you just get new pads & discs to suit, and take a look at your tyres.

182 brakes look miserable anyway, if you're doing this for show I bet not many people will notice the difference - they're not good looking.

Have in mind that it's possible that 172/182 hubs are for bigger driveshafts.. That was case when i swapped from megane 1 1.4e hubs to 2.0 16v hubs..
