182 Cambelt Aux belt

Hello All

I have just brought a july 04 clio 182, its done 48k miles. I was considering changing the cambelt, and now, after reading much information on this forum I have decided to get it changed. I have booked it in my local nationwide autocentre, where a friend is the manager. Having looked at the service history, the AUX belt kit has been done 2 months / 1200 miles ago. My question is , will this need changing again when the cambelt is done? Seems to me like it will be fine, as its a very new belt, but just wanted to check!!

As far as im aware, you have to take the Aux belt off to get to the Cam belt so yea, it will need re doing when you get the cam done.

The belt itself only costs £10 so might as well.

Do both together mate you have to take aux belt off to do cam belt, Dont pay two lots of labour by having em done seperate

why change the belt so early?

72k or 5 years is the recommended?

Maybe next year change it.

I'm assuming he has, nationwide autocentres are pretty big I think. He said he'd done one a couple of weeks ago
