182 Clutch Petdal

Do any of you 182 owners have a lot of play on your clutch pedal when it is fully out?

Mine seems to have about 1-2cm of play where it sort of rattles. You also need to push past this before you actually control the clutch.

It reminds me of when the top teeth used to snap on my ford fiestas clutch half circle thing.

The other quick question is about my tracking/steering wheel. The wheel is slightly to the right, which is pissing me off. Dont know if the wheel is not aligned or if the tracking is wrong. Cars just out the showroom. Any other people had this issue and if so what was the fault?

Much Appreciated

the play in the clutch is a feature of a lot of clutches and is nothing to worry about

the wheel alignment is something that people have been discussing on here recently, if you do a search you should find some info.

My steering wheel seems slightly to the right when going straight ahead. I have heard others say the same.

Have been paying close attention when driving to see if the car actually pulls to the right or not. To be honest its hard to tell because the car often pulls to one side or the other as it follows the tarmac.

Thats the prob Toypop, exactly like you said. If there is a small camber in the road, the mix of lower supension, bigger wheels causes the wheels to pull each way, so im not sure if its a problem or just the messy roads around in Scotland.

Will go in and see the dealer about it after the new year I think. The clutch pedal is real annoying, will ask them to look at it, certainly hope its not a trait of the car like dave182 says. Its really annoying when you pop the clutch up during fast driving gear changes and it rattles about.

My dash rattles a lot and so does the passenger seat when its empty, but i hear thats fairly standard.

Not used to so much torque steer either after my 1.6 rxe automatic, so kinda have to switch the gears quick and grab onto the steering wheel with both hands

Oh, and very disappointing that the tyre goes flat if you stick a fat nail through it and drive for another mile before you can pull over...:(
Edit: Everythings fine other than that (touch wood)
