182 Cup steering rack faulty

Hi all, the steering rack on my Clio 182 Cup seems to have started making clicking and knocking noises. Does anyone know how long before it fails completely? Also, does anyone have a spare one i coukd buy? Went to Renault dealer and there are none available!

Does the rack of a standard 182 fit on the Cup version?

Is it not the bushes that mount it to the subframe?

mine was class clicking for over a year before the steering went a bit loose and vague feeling. As soon as that started to happen it was dead. Eeked it out for another few weeks then got a new one fitted. £200 fitted by my local garage. I think they are all standard on the rs models but I may be corrected by someone more knowledgeable.. Don't get an oe one from Renault as your paying a massive premium.
