182 door inner door handles/grabs

tonight i removed my inner door handle things, the bits the electric windows sit in as they are all peeled, what have people done to theirs to freshen it up?. it took me over a hour to sand it completely down to paint

Just paint them?

Plastic primer first though! Or the paint will peel

I sanded mine down, normal halfords primer and then paint and lacquer.

Didn't chip at all until i dropped one when pulling the car to bits :dapprove:

That's what Iv done so far. Halfords primer and satin black paint. But the gel coat is a nightmare to sand
