182 exhaust on a 1.2

I'm considering making a 182 replica and I've seen a few exhaust systems on eBay. I was wondering what I'd have to look for (type etc.) and if it will simply fit on my car or will I have to buy something else?

Also how much do you reckon a garage would charge to fit it?

Thanks all. :)

nope mate you cant fit a 182 exhaust on a 1.2 as the 1.2 has a spare wheel well in the boot and the 182 has a flat floor. ktec do a replica one but it is well expensive and for some reason they made it so the twin pipes arent the same distance as the 182 rear bumper, so you have to modify it.
basically you have to make a custom one, its what i am doing mate. have a look for pipes and tail pieces from the ebay shop pipewerx

nice one mate, glad you didnt give up with it.

Cro-Clio made a 182 style exhaust using a ktec stealth back box and customising it, i am going down a similar line as this

s**t I forgot about that! That's a shame, too much hassle for my liking haha. I'll check that eBay shop out now though, might as well get a 172 bumper now though.

Thanks

I wouldnt bother mate, if it were me (and it was not so many moons ago) go to a stainless exhaust mechanic and get him to make you somthing up, itll work out cheaper and they should be able to work the pipes round the spare wheel housing, itll look better aswell!
