182 First service?

Can anyone clear this up for me?

My 182 is nearly 12 months old and done 4500 miles.

Went 2 Reno 2day to check if the first service was 12 months or 12k, they said 12 months but the garage I got it from and a link on this site say 12k. I'll probably still get it done with the oil and other fluids being 12 months old. But if I can get it done later that would be better.. ££!

2 years or 12k miles , i would have had the oil changed at least by now if you want it to run sweet. they dont do much in the first service anyway.

As I wrote in the thread its 2years or 12k whatevers first few dealers know even Renault UK manauls have the wrong info in them.

Think I'll just get the oil changed. Seems a bit silly to get a full service when its only done 4.5k..

OOps!! Better book mine in.. its two years old in July and has done nearly 13,000.. Renault didnt say anything when I took it in two weeks ago for some warrenty work??

Ok, reno have just confirmed thats it is 24m or 12k... Just my local dealer trying to line his pockets! Not going there again.

So, will an oil change be enough for now? I've only had it 2 weeks and will be putting alot more miles on it than its done in the last yr.

I'd personalyl chage the oil ever 6 month or 6k whatsever happens first but there no need to Renault warently the car so long as you service it ever 12k or 24 month by the approriate standards and have a VAT registered garage stamp the book and use Renault parts.
