182 floor mats?

Is the floor-pan on the 182 the same on all Clios in the foot-wells? Could I just buy any set of floor mats to fit the Mk2 and they would fit ok?

i got a good set off ebay. made to fit the clio (good quality too) they do them in a few different colours.
i had a blue set with my blue clio and now got a red one so got a red set.

look nice IMO.. better than black

They are the same shape yes, but afaik only the 1*2's got the one piece rear mat - I may be wrong though.

Same here - I'll have a hole in it soon. I really must stop wearing high heels when I'm driving.....

Was that a bit random, though D? I know on my '54 plate, I have two seperate mats for the rear footwells, but when Jain had her 182 - she had the single piece? Personally, I think the two mats look better, but as I hardly ever move the front seats forward even, the rear mats are out of sight/out of mind.

Got a little nervous when I spoke to a Reno Parts monkey...

Me - "Hi, could I have price on a set of front mats for a 182, please?"
Primate - "Is that the new Clio?"
Me - "Er, no - that would be the 200"
Primate - "Oh. Ermmm. Hang on a sec..."

He comes back later with a part number for some grey mats? I don't think so. Black is the only way to roll.

but im after a set for my 197, does anyone do them with renault sport on them, ?

and are they the same fitment as the 182 then, ?

i dont mind what they cost, my last set cost me £90.

Grey? If mine are grey - then they are uber-dark grey. Beyond gun-metal grey, almost black. :S. Mine have a CarSelect badge on one of them - maybe they were different from Lloyds-TSB?

Gaz has got me intrigued now though - what are these RS mats that's he's bickering on about?

They are dark grey Darren, like a charcoal grey. No logos other than a Renault label/part number on the rear from memory. Also come with the securing clips which keep them in place.

No clips = not genuine RS mats.

Nabbed a set of these off Fleabay. The quality is superb - much, much better than the OEM ones I have in my car at the moment. Thanks to 197Gaz for making me spend yet more money with the link.... :rasp:
