182 Front grill Question !

Whats the original colour of the upper/lower front grill of a clio 182?

Mines silver, but judging from a google search and images it appears it should be black

Internet points for a response.

Thanks mate, may have to invest in an original at some point. Looks better in black than the silver mine has.

Just respray yours satin black, it just pops out

Ill get a picture of it tomorrow and put it up, the fog lights surround are silver as well. The grills not in the best of condition tbh, you can see paint rubbed off near some of the edges.

Ill get some quotes for resprays and see how much they'll be new to buy.

Oh god.

iirc it's around £55 new for, the top grill, £40ish second hand

you can rattle can them yourself, all you'll need is sandpaper, primer and black spray should come to about £15 tops and a couple hours

Nice one tommo, Mine Definitely need spraying.

You can see all the marks on the lower grill and it just looks untidy. Ill look at getting some stuff together and doing it soon.

Respraying the two grills and foglight surrounds will make it look so much nicer again

Finally got round to starting it !

Already done the upper grill and fog light surrounds and i thinks its come out fairly decent. Time for the lower grill, am i right in thinking it can be removed with the bumper in place on the car ? push to release clips then maneuver it out?
