182 gearbox ... speedo

Is there any way to fit a speedo-cable in a JC-5 130?
Since I have this box brand new, it would be a nice upgrade for my R19 16v turbo...

Or any other options to get the speedo working?

Nope you'd need a cup box for that.

yeah, but the only cup that dosn't have abs is the "real" 172 cup

Where does the 182 take the speedo signal from? From the ABS right?
Can that same signal be taken from a R19 Abs?
Or can you install a few parts from the abs to take that signal?

Don't have a clue if this all makes sense...

yeah possible, but hard to do!!

if you can get the casing of a JC5 that has a speedo drive output you could take both gearboxes apart and make one with a speedo drive from the 2

its basically just a hole in the top of the diff casing the speedo drives a worm off the diff,,,

And that thing can't be taken from a JB-3, stick it in the JC box, and drill a hole where de speedo sits?
It probably ain't that simple...

Right, I found a guy who does gearbox rebuilds...
He said it can be done by changing the bell-housing and sticking a worm in it...

Total cost of 300 euros?

This ok to do?
