182 grab handle - help needed

  182 Cup
A kind passenger broke the grab handle on my 182. It looks like a simple fix as it's only the spring that's become detached - stoping it returning to it's normal position. Re-fitting the spring while the handle is still attached to the roof lining seems like a difficult job, so I thought I'd simply unscrew the two fixing points, re-fit the spring and then re-attach the lot. However, Once the two screws were out, the monting points refuse to move from the roof lining, does anyone know if they're also clipped in or the technique to remove them?

Thanks,

put the screws back in as there's a bolt behind it put screw in about half a turn then push the head of the screw in you then need a trim tool to put behind the handle base and pull like hell it will come but its hard , the screw+ bolt spreads the plastic insert apart so you need to keep them together and in to get it out hope this helps good luck.
