Can i check a cars origin just by the number plate??

I need to know if one im going to buy is a genuine UK car and not an import.

Ring Renault they will tell you.

are you going to see the car, or you just doing it from the plate ??, if you seeing it look for the etching on the windows

yes u can. new ones, its the first two letters than decide wher there from.

he means whether it is a UK originated car or an imported one, not which area it was first registered Rob.

I would go with calling Renault with the reg number, they should have it on theur system.
