182 inlets to fit 172

Just wondered if inlets of a 182 would fit straight onto a ph2 172?

Hold up... I am 99% Sure that the 172 upper inlet is a different fitment to that of a 182!

I knew I was right, taken from another thread -

they're all model specific - ie different

So no a 182 inlet wont fit a 172!

That´s not the inlet, it´s the plenum. The lower fits fine, but the "upper" is specific.

Okay, well basically im buying the upper and lower inlets from a 182 because they have been port matched. So will they fit if its only the top inlet that is different for each model?
