182 is finally here

Car  MY10 R35 GTR
After over two months of waiting me Black 182 is waitin for me to pick her up tomorrow!!!

Downside 1000 or so mile of being nice to run it in :(

Sure it will have been worth the wait for you!! Wait til it gets to around 5k+miles then it will be properly run in!!!

i remember when i first got mine! You try to take it as easy as possible but the devil in you will say "go on just go past 5000 rpm and see what she can do! i wont tell if you dont!" the 1000 miles goes in no time anyway!

If you want it to use oil and not be full potential for the rest of it's life, then run it in. Otherwise just warm her up and hammer it IMHO.

As long as it's up to temp before you open it up it wont do any damage. I think too many people nievely think the engine wont have been hammered from cold by the people at the factory/docks/renault uk/dealer techs/dealer valeters.

its my first new car I've usually gone second hand. And cos of racing I've seen what happens if you don't run in. Thats what the warrentys for. heheheh
