182 limp mode & now not starting

  Clio 182 Cup
Drove my 182 (04 plate) out the petrol station today, it went into limp mode almost immediately. Parked it up, and went to turn it back on half an hour later, it now won't start? It needs a new oild pressure switch, as the light comes on now & again, been meaning to get one, but it hasn't caused a problem. Could this now be the issue, anyone any ideas?

The engine won't physically "turn over" or just simply won't "start"? Only asking so we are clear as you've had an oil pressure warning light on and continued to drive the vehicle.

Its turnin over for a few seconds then cutting out, its not gettin a spark. Was wondering if the oil pressure switch was knackered, would it stop it frm getting a spark? Or out it into limp mode, its been fine for the last few weeks, just havent had time to go get one & fit it

An oil pres switch will not stop the engine starting no. I'm willing to go on a limb and say the LED will be on solid and not going out.

When the ignitions on, the light stays on constant. And the same happens when I try start it. What does this mean, I'm just confused cause it went into limp mode & now won't start. Any help is much appreciated

The reason for why the LED is constantly on has been covered a fair few times now but chances are your car is not starting because there's a broken wire in the engine loom.
