182 manifold on a 172

Have tried searching but cant really find all the answers to my questions so hoping one of you can help.

Want to do this swap as it seems a popular choice for gains per £ but i need to know the following

1. When i fit a decat to it do i fit a 172 decat or 182?
2. When it comes to mot time will my 172 cat go back on with a link pie or do i need a 182 cat
3. Apart from the link pipe needed to mate to a 172 system is it a straight swap
4. Can you get the link pipe from anywhere or am i best getting a local exhaust place to make one

2/ No you'll fail your MOT as 172 cat won't fit.
3/Yes
4/Y'ish spk to Fred or Andrew at Yozzasport

3/ When i say yes....You need to drop the subframe...But it is a straight swap.

1/ custom decat (modified 182 decat)
2/ a 172 decat would need modiefying at end
3/ few hours work i think swapping it but should go straight on
4/ fred might have one or design for it but prolly have it custom done
