182 manifold on my cup

Hello,

Whats needed for the 182 manifold plus system on a 172?

Is it worth it power wise?

need a cat/decat making up as the fitment to the exhaust is different. 182 exhaust wont fit a 172 without cutting the spare wheel well out and fabrication a new boot floor and mounts

Benefits are all midrange. Plenty of discussion about this on here recently

I believe you can buy a 182 style exhaust though that fits with a wheel well

Buy a manifold, new gaskets and a link pipe. Job done.

you can indeed. I'll sort it if anyone asked me for it. Not really what I do though. Substance over styling

i dont find the link pipes fit too well, hence I make them up myself

Mine fitted a treat, but as you say it's not hard, or expensive to get one made so it fits perfect.
