182 manifold.

Does a 182 exhaust manifold bolt straight on the back of a mk2 172? and if it does is it worth the hassle for the price/perf difference?

imho... no. A lot of hassle involved ( 7hrs work - engine out, or subframe off, modifications to exhaust)

BUT you will get good gains. Apparently, and this is from the guys that know, the 182 manifold is an excellent design.

Yes it bolts straight on, but it wont mate up directly with the 172 cat.

I work for renault so i can get good discount on the part, i know its about 350+vat to normal trade, could buy then get a custom downpipe made to fit befor fitting to car. 7 hours is a lot of time to pay for though even on the side, does it give good torque gains or just bhp?
