182 manifolds

Is the flange at the cat end the same as a 172's?

Ie can I chop my current system and weld the flange on further back to mate with the 182 manifold?

the joint between the manifold and the cat is the same on the 172/182. you could chop your system and weld join on but to be honest. Alot easier just to buy the K-tec cat link pipe.

thats great but thats what I want rid of

The 172 manifold is 4 pipes going into 1...the 182 manifold is 4 pipes going into 2 then into 1...

ie. the 172 manifold is a 4-1 whereas the 182 manifold is a 4-2-1.
