Mines the same, as was my 172.

In fact its got practically all the same faults as my 172 had, only not quite as bad.........yet.

Its the cam profile what do you expect from a car thats sub 7secs 0-60 and 182 P.S from a 2.0 16v. The VVC helps but it will always idle crap. Just give it more revs when you pull off then it wont judder as much the 172/182/cup are only ever truly happy when doing 4k+, but thats all i ever do anyway:D

I would imaging it will get better as it beds in.

Just sold my 182 at 12k miles, and the engine had nicely settled in.

Idling was fine after 2-3k miles

(Early oil n filter change may have helped though?)

I take it from the lack of possitive points about its handling it doesnt live up to the renaultsport brand. I have heard the acceleration is mega fast and i think it was evo said that it would outsprint an RS focus?

Didnt read the article... Just went and got the car!

Must say, its a lovely drive.. very smoothe n quiet when you want it to be (unlike the rather loud 182 in comparison).. put your foot down and you hear a lovely sound (including a bit of turbo whizzing)...only the steering feels a bit like an arcade game... bizzare!
