182 - one key fits all

At the petrol station after Brands, and Steve opened my petrol cap with his key - surely not right???

maybe the petrol caps work on a "skelenton key" type basis and only the locks on the doors/ignition are coded to each car

i remember years ago, i locked the keys to my dads old passat in the car lol...........we used my grans old golf key to open the door to the passat, sorted LOL

Apparently Readers Digest once did a competition which involved sending out keys attached to letters.

Which was lovely, apart from the fact that you could use them to get into and start Cortinas... lol

does that mean i can syphen fuel from some of the petrol clios down my way at night ? hmm.. cheaper driving if it was the case then 5 million clios worldwide could be opened with one key..

this sort of info is usefull but if it gets into the wrong hands then it could be lethal. try not to post this kind of stuff because im no criminal but now im really interested to see if it will work on other MKII clios.. someone more shifty will actually abuse this.
