182 or 182 cup?

Car  Renault Clio 1.2
getting my new car in june - july time next year but unsure whether to go for a 182 or 182 cup. the major thing that puts me off is the interior of the cup but hey its a cup. is itmore difficult to insure a cup? cheers dave
 
Get a 182 with Cup Packs. Best of both worlds.

And next June/July, bit premature aren't you!
 
Get a FF...No real difference in performance from the Cup and with more comforts options...Most FF's have the Cup packs anyway.

All FFs have cup packs ;)

FF means it has cup packs, but most people have started to refer to 172/182 which are not cups as FFs, which is wrong.
 
I would leave it until nearer the time and see what you can get for your cash.

Not that much difference between the 2. I'm sure you'll be able to live without the "extras"
 
what are the "extras" because im looking at gettng a 182 to turbo and was wounderign which would be best like becaus i dont wan aire con or cruise control and all that nonsense
 
182 cup is pointless imo. Losing the nice interior and CC for 20kgs. The only advantage is its easier to get Racing Blue on them.

Have you looked into insurance yet? I'm changing my car next august but no point in deciding what yet untill i can get quotes reasonably accurately i.e. the 60 days the quotes valid for. So thats July for me. I'm saving up anyway so i've just got to choose.

May keep hold on the 1.2 if i can't get 1*2 insurance. Or get a 106 gti or something like that for a year then get a 182.
 
i wish i'd gone for a "warm" hatch before going straight to the 182 TBH
 
na ive had my heart set on a 182 so it has to be a 182 lol and dave tricky, that is my plan i want it for track and poss drag/hillclimb undecided yet
 
wicked man. im a 1.2 at the mo but i would never have something like a 106 gti. saving hard and earn my money well so thought i mite treat myself to an amazing car.
 
ye man go for it mate, i am as well, been working hard and saving my money well so gna get a nice car and take really good care of it.
 
If you're going to get a cup I'd get a 172 cup, as that is the 'proper' one IMO. 182 with cup packs is the best option, best of both worlds!

mate....personally i own a 182 clio with cup package added. I preferred this option as to some extent I could experience the two. My car is the regualr hatch with the cup suspension and alloys added as mods. Good luck with youre clio tho, im happier than iv ever been

No older than a 172 is now, only 2 years away max before i get a 1*2. If i get one next year i think it will be 172 if its the year after it will be a 182.
