  Clio 172 Cup

hello everyone! Just a few questions about the 182, as im interested in getting one as my Cup is a bag of sh*t, still having all the problems with steering, i hate driving it now.

What is the 0-60 time of the standard 182?

Has anyone had any problems with the 182 yet? If so, what have they been?

thanks,

johnny

Mine has done 750 miles and seems to be opening up pretty impressively over the past few days :)

The standard 0-60 time issued by Renault is 7.1 seconds. However, EVO and AutoCar have both run 0-60 tests on the 182, EVOs being 6.6 seconds and AutoCar 6.3 seconds. I think Im right in claiming that they both used the same car too, AutoCars test having more mileage. 6.3 seconds is superb from a non turbo front wheel drive car.

Problems. None yet thankfully. However, the other morning my ABS light came on along with the SERV light. Bit worrying. Anyway, got to work, knocked the engine off. Put it back on and nothing since. Phoned Renault and booked it in for a looksie, as the mechanic claimed that Renault dont sort the cables out properly for the ABS and on full lock friction and pulling can lead to electrical problems. Friend of mine reckonned it was probobly dust on one of the sensors as its been perfect since.

Anyhoo, loving the car. Great handling, noise is superb thanks to the Induction kit. Now all I gotta do is sort the cold air feed pipe out as Ive been running it with just the kit facing the front grill.
