Hi Folks, I have a Petrol Blue 182 lined up to buy... does anyone have any pics of a Petrol Blue 182? Its like a flip green/blue colour... looking forward to that as it is different.. and is in A1 condition... (as I have been reliably informed from a good friend). Are there many other Petrol Blue 182's in the club?

One in the club I think, has some non-standard wheels. Very very few of these about, only 9 ever sold compared to 34 for the other I.D colour (Liquid Yellow).

They look gorgeous imo, only ever seen one in the metal.

Where did you find one of them for sale?

One of the members on here has loads of pics of petrol blue 182's, but i cannot remember his user name.

Thanks guys! thats cool they are so rare! I was about to get an Inferno, but now I've bought this one! as its rarer.. its thru a good friend that told me before it came on the market! The Yellow looks stunning too...but a bit too bright for me.

I see quite a few 182's and my Bro has a Artic Blue one, but never seen i.d colour one... so will be cool!

love that colour!

as much as i love my black gold 182 id rather have petrol blue or liquid yellow!!!

yep, superb colour, suprising only 9 were made really since so many people seem to like it. I was also suprised reading that only 34 liquid yellows were made! thought there would be alot more than that.

those pictures dont really do it justice though compared to the ones Rich posted?

Ive seen one about, someone who works at Renault in Barwell (leics) owned one, think he has sold it now

^^ yeh, but just goes to show that when its not sunny outside and cleaned up to the max, it does look fairly 'bland' i think is the nicest way i can put it.

I saw a Petrol Blue 182 at Reg Vardy Livingston (I'm sure it was the one in the pics) and in the sun it is a stunning colour imo. I'd have one as it is so rare.

i guess so. when my car is clean its stunning, but 2 days later, when all the dust and sh*t off the roads is all over it, it looks dull.

nah the 172 never came in petrol blue.

its a ice colour when its all shiny, but in reality, it not that special, its appeal is its rareness. liquid yellow is where its at.

How many people would specify petrol blue on thier 182 were it a standard finish colour?

Get the proper trophy wheels from renault tho dude, dont work out that dear, but have correct offset and centrecaps etc, will look better, rather than the speedline ones.
