182 - Please suggest better alternative

Hi ,

Can you suggest better alternative to the wheel replacement equipment you got in your 182 as standard? I saw some pics showing a horrible damage one can do when using it to replace the wheel.

just use standard jacking points and it should b fine!

Carry a small piece of timber with you to place under the jack to keep it level. Thats what ive always done! Hope this helps.

Seams to be random as to when they bend and when they dont, Ive used the same trolley jack on 2x 172s and a cup and only one of the jacking points bent on one of the 172s. just have to take it steady.

I saw some pics showing a terrible damage after using that standard trolley jack. Using a piece of wood? OK.

Using some kind of a smaller hydraulic jack with rubberized surface would be probably a fine idea. Can somebody give some hint where to buy it?

Buy a second jack and higher the car a bit at a time.
