Seen 182 05 been told it's got cup susp, but it has silver alloys????????????

Has it got cup packs or not???????????

They are probably aftermarket alloys........check the sales receipt.

It should have anthracite alloys if it has Cup suspension.

Check if its got the cup splitter and spoiler. Usually 182's are bought with both packs not just the one.

Those are the none Cup pack wheels, so unless someone specifically asked for them I'd reckon on it not having the Cup pack.

Has it got the spoiler and splitter? The dealer my be confusing that with including the suspension also.

Don't rely on it having a Cup spoiler pack as well. I haven't got it as I prefer the regular rear spoiler. Liked the additional front one but for £175 or whatever I didn't think it was worth it. You can buy the front one aftermarket anyway.

If it doesn't have the Cup alloys I'd be a bit sus, as they are part of the chassis pack.

Owner could of change the wheels to the sliver ones.
IMO check with Renault.

Agree with Clang, I've got suspension pack but not spoiler pack so can't rely on that. I reckon most likely it hasn't got cup suspension.

Bought my 182 a month ago, 1 year old. It came with silver allloys. Dealer said it was an option at new. :race:

It was an option to have Cup suspension pack.

If you took the option, you got anthracite wheels.

If you didnt you get silver wheels.

I dont know of ANYONE going from anthracite to silver, so I'd assume its not got the Cup suspension pack.

Dealer was fibbing then, silver alloys are std, anthracite are the option (with cup suspension)

Non enthuiasts probably dont care! The salesman I had was really clued up, I bet some weren't.

When i orderd mine i wanted the cup suspension pack but keep the silver wheels the Dealer wouldn't entertain it and would only sell me the silver wheels as extras.

So to have a cup suspension pack with silver wheels is doudt full or very expensive.

There are a few cars with silver wheles and Cup suspension packs some people wanted the silver wheels and dealers wanted the athretic alloys to sell to other people so they did a dead but thats not an official thing.
Best idea is to measure the distance between the center of the two bolts holding the strut and hub together none cuped cars are 54mm, cup spec cars have 58 or 60mm hubs (I forget which).

Not everybody likes the look of the Anthracite alloys or want the firmer ride so that`s easy.

It`s just as easy to see why people went for it, if they like the look of the anthracite alloy`s, and want a firmer ride with better handling.

Each to their own. Personally i can`t stand Anthracite alloy`s and have not ever wished for cup suspension, but saying that, if it was an option to have the suspension and silver alloy`s i might of took the offer up.

Whilst on the subject i think the spoiler pack should of come on the car as standard, it does not make a massive difference but on a sport model it should of been standard IMO. Robbing git`s charging us for it !!
