182 rear discs

  Golf Mk6 tdi
Is it better to replace the disc and bearing or just the disc? I have tried searching but not got the direct answer. They grind when coming to a complete stop.

If the discs need replacing I would advise you replace the bearings as well as they don't seem to have the longest life plan anyway. And I would only recommend genuine as non genuine bearings can be pony.

As for grinding, are you sure it's not just your pads binding abit?
