182 revs dropping when cold.

  133/225/CLS AMG
The missus 182 Cup has just over 13k on the clock, green induction kit and powerflow back boxes.

Noticed that in the last couple of months, when the cars cold going up hill the revs seem to die down to the point where you have to change down to 2nd.

The other night it did it to the point where I ended up in 1st.

This only seems to happen when its cold as myself and the missus won't take it over 3,500rpm until its fully warmed up. Usually it'll go up my road, which is fairly steep in 3rd and will just drive normally. Now the revs often die off when cold.

Any idea why this would be? Hadn't noticed it so much before the back boxes were put on??? Any ideas?

Its an open cone filter. But been on the car since last July and been fine. Same design as on my old 172 and that was fine as well.

tis a bit strange.

maybe try giving the throttle body a clean, and the air filter a clean and reoil... just to begin with..... bad fuel?

Yeah might have a check of the filter this weekend.

Fuel shouldn't be an issue as its only fed on the V-power from the same garage as my 225 gets fuelled.

Could well just be the recent cold damp air we've had.

Usually fine though. My 172 had its induction kit on it right through the year and didn't get any issues.

Oh well, could just be one of those Renault quirks!! Should be used to em by now. lol
