182 Satnav in 172's

Has anyone put the satnav from a 182 into a 172 and any idea how much a nightmare it would be ?

Sat nav came out as an optional extra on the mk2 172, then it was available on the 182 when they came out (again as an optional extra) but it was only available on the early ones.

I was looking to do this (my dad has a 172 with factory sat nav) but it looked to be a mission to swap it over.

The looms are different from the 172 to the 182, the whole loom inside will need to be swapped it would be a mission and a half for sat nav no better than a tom tom.
