182 Servicing-How much do you pay?

Hi all

Having my 182 serviced next week for the first time. It had already had 2 Renault and 1 Vauxhall services and its just coming up to 24K on a 55 plate.
Service, plus air filter plus brake fluid, (Mobil 1, Shell Helix or simiar engine oil) for £120 plus vat.

Is this a fair price? Its from a local garage I use, not Renault, I dont particularly like the local Renault garage. Am I stupid using a local garage and thus not getting a Renault Stamp in the book, or does it not matter at this age of the car?

I have already booked the service, dont really want to cancel unless its a rip off but it would be nice to know for future.

If it has a full Renault history it would be nice to keep it I guess if you can afford it? I always service mine for the basics and use a garage and keep the receipts when needed. Huge wallet of receipts and no service history ftw! lol

Well it has a full Renault history with an added Vauxhall stamp as part of their network q thing where they allegedly service all of their cars before they are sold.

I just get the feeling, rightly or wrongly that most main dealers employ idiots or dont care as they are big concerns. I know that sounds harsh and very unfair but in my experience and from what are probably "urban myths" it is at least in part true.

Dont know why Im so bothered, it is ONLY a Clio but it is in very nice condition and has low miles,etc, so I just wanted to keep it that way.
