182 spare wheel!!!.

  197-I love!!!

Does anyone know if there is a wheel -preferably space saver-from another Clio that fits the 182-just in case!!!

all clio wheels will fit (except v6), as long as you dont go to fast, but you will have to sit it in the boot, as theres no wheel well

Wont the can of foam do?
its not a complete cure is it, plenty have been stranded because of buclked wheels, or damage to tyres that foam cant fix etc

Thing is though ben, if you a bad puncture or it shreds or explodes - tyre foam would be useless.

plus loads of tyre dealers wont fix a foamed up tyre. Much rather put a new wheel on.

I have another 182 wheel with a nearly new tyre on it, sat at home if I ever need it someone will bring me it.

was speaking to a bloke today who works for the AA and he said that if you get a punture then they will fix it or take you to the nearest place to get it fixed. have heard that people on here was paying extra to get this option on their AA 3 year cover but he siad that you dont have to. all the ones he has done have been coverd on the standard cover and that its renaults fault the car dont come with a spare tire so its their responsability for the first 3 years.

they dont take the tyre off it is drilled and plugged from the outside my mates have had this done on their bikes when they got a puncher in wales, when they took the tyre in to be fixed (with a plug the AA had put in) they told them it cant be done now for some reason i cant remember why now.
