182 Stereo Volume

I tried the search function bit its not working properly.

When you speed up in the 182 the volume on the radio goes up and when you brake sharply the volume goes right down?



Is that normal? is it a feature? Can I turn it off?

Yes, its normal, speed sensitive volume adjust.

Not sure if you can turn it off?

It was on my Clio Si too, not just on the 182.

I let my fingers do the walking if i need to adjust.They dont have to walk very far though thanks to the remote controls !

Ill dig the manual out again - i had a quick look through but never noticed it.

you go in to settings on the stereo press and hold one of the 4 way scrolls on the right of the radio, cant remember which now. Its got a setting between 1 and 5, 5 being the case that it adjusts the most for you, so you may just want to turn it to 2 or something instead of totally off.
