182 wheels skidding/knocking noise

Hi all,

A friend of mine has a 182. When on or close to full lock and pulling away his clio feels like the wheels are skidding and makes a really strange noise. The tyres at at the same PSI with good tread. We have no idea what it is.

Has anyone heard of this before?
