182 Wiring Diagram

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for the 182? I am particularly interested in the dashboard area, and how the mileage and speed reading are taking, which I believe on these is not from the gearbox but from the ABS sensor?

Yes, speedo is electronic, not sure where it gets the info from though.

The speedo sensor gets its readings from the front left ABS sensor. I don't know what you want to do and although I've got the drawing I cannot send them out.
The gearbox doesn't even have any speedo etc outputs.
The milage is stored on the dasboard clocks.
If you give us a better idea what your after then I can help more.

Ive been offered a dash with aluminium dials and, LED lighting by a friend, which will go in my 182. But I dont want it to read his milage which is considerably higher. My Dad said that he could probably make it read the same as mine if he had an idea of how the mileage was stored on the car, as he is an electronics engineer.

Any ideas would be helpfull, although im thinking against this now as it seems a lot of hassle, and i may aswell probably just get my own clocks dun.

pm me your email address ill send you the wiring diagram, although the milage is stored in the clocks its protected by an encryption . i know a man with a dog that can correct it for £60 pm if your interested
