182's with Recaro's

Hi fella's, I have been looking for a 182 with the optional Recaro seats that the Trophy has and they seem very rare! My first question is (stupidly..) Are they as had to find as I am finding? And secondly do they improve upon the standard arguably high driving position?

Thanks

TBH they look the nuts and are better than the RS standard seats but i find they aren't as supportive as the Recaro's in the 197/200

So yes they are as hard to find as I thought! Useful thread btw. I take it you can no longer buy them from Renault then?

Thanks for the link kevster. Maybe I'd be better off finding a car with the seats already in, or keep a close eye on the for sale section..

I went and viewed an inferno a few weeks back that had recaro's. looked amazing, but I prefer the normal sports seats tbh. More comfortable and more supportive IMO.

  Now Sold :-(
As many have said before the Recaro's do look the absolute nuts but in my experience are no more supportive than the standard sport seats.
I wouldn't go back to standard though. Worth the ££ for the exclusivity IMO.

  Mint 1*2's for sale-
Theres a B;ack Gold in the for sale section with the recaros ( recaro 182 is the user)

Good price- would be worth a punt

Thanks for the replies guys. Slinky- interesting to hear that the standard seats are just as supportive, I have driven a few 172's albeit a long time ago but do remember the seats being quite nice- just a bit too high thats all. Steve@R- thanks for the pointer- I have already seen that and am quite interested.. Andy12- I would like a Trophy but they are a little out of my price range. I know they were only made in limited numbers and have trick dampers but do they really drive that much differently to a standard 182/ worth the extra premium?
