I am 18yrs old and was wondering whether you think that Id be able to get insured on a Valver. I got a years no claims and pass plus. What do you rekon tptt. Cheers, Sam

You can get insured. But how much is the question.

As I wrote in another thread it depend how your NCB where you live how many miles you do what you do for a living etc.

Id guess £2.5 to £3.5k.

The forum user on here who has a Cup pays £4k at 18 for a Cup

sam im 19 with 1 years no claims, 2 crashes, 1 i was at fault

I have an RSI, so model down from the valver really, i pay 900 tptt with HIC on my own policy

i think ud b paying alot of money 2 b insured on a valver, would suggest going for sumin bit cheaper really as otherwise ull get bit fuked 4 insurance,

+ itll cost u more 2 find a mint valver than itll cost u 2 find a mint rsi

Elephant insured me on my valver at 19 for about £1275 tpft so at 18 itll be over £1500!! lol

Try insuring yourself on your parents insurance with you as a named driver on elephant.co.uk Im 18 have a cup and pay 1400 fully comp.

IIRC cheapest i found anywhere for me 19, 0NCB, Pass plus is £1400TPFT... ot be honest mate they generally dont give a sh*t if u have pass pluss and even the NCB doesnt help much if ur under 21.
