195/45/16 instead of 205/45/16

circumference will be sligtly smaller.
less flex in sidewall due to reduced height.
Less rubber on road (noticable?)

That too yes.....i'm asking after reading the EVO tire test and the conti sport3's scoring best.
I used to have the on my other car and they were magic in the rain...and as it rains a lot here.......

Plenty of opinion about this if you search.

I swapped all four from pilot exalto 2's (205/45) to contisports (195/45) last year - the ride seems a bit firmer but I'd be lying if I said I could notice anything significantly different about grip or handling.
