197/200 exhaust

does anyone have a custom made exhaust for a 197/200?

do you know how they did it getting around the diffuser? or have any pictures of itfrom underneath?

Yea tis a diffuser off job mate, pretty easy though to remove

not when its bonded to a rear bumper of a megane lol
will be a bumper off job for me then.

how do they then work out where the tailpipes need to sit to exit the diffuser?

Jaff...depending on the cash...try Pro-speed in Cardiff...they'll make it for you on the car, so I'm sure Charlie and Simon will sort it for you...as they build it for the car.

cash shouldent be a problem by then mate so it was either longlife down the road or pro-speed.

the thing im worried about is getting the tailpipes to sit correctly through the diffuser and around my custom made rear end lol. its not as easy as a clio where the diffuser just pops off its looking like my diffuser will be bonded to the bumper so its the whole job off to do it

You've removed the wheel well, so shouldn't be as much of a hassle, I'm sure they can do it...it will just depend on how you want it to sit and sound, etc. Give him a bell and pop down and let him quote you...he's probably had a lot more difficult ones to do...there's a 3 door fiesta (the shape just gone) with a side exit exhaust...bet that would be more of a pain than yours. Can't wait to see this next month if the weekender is still on.

I'm hoping so...depends on funds.

Just a suggestion, as if you're going customised car, you might want a non 'off the shelf' product which will highlight the car's potential.

a clio diffuser on a meggy is good enough for me as will a custom exhaust

can anyone tell me what size tailpipes the 197 diffuser lets you have? think i measured the holes at roughly 3 inches, so if im correct i guess standard 197 exhaust tailpipes are 2.5 inches?
