197 Climate display fault

Hi folks,

Looking for an experts opinion/advice.

2 of the LCD parts are missing from my digital display and it's bugging me. Only temp it shows correctly is 21!

I've seen a full replacement unit on eBay - controls and display and I'm just wondering if it's as simple as plug and play if it remove the old one?

yeah just plug and play its one big unit, its not on auto is it

Cheers, just thought I'd check before I ruin the AC before summer!

It's missing 2 of the calculator style parts of the numbers and doesn't show them if it's in auto or not. Little thing but it's one of them that niggles at me every time I get in the car!
