197 f1 Aux Cable

Hi

Apologies in advance if there is a previous thread with this information on, or if I'm just being stupid!

i have purchased an aux cable to connect my iPhone to my HU in my 197 f1, I have a standard HU and have taken the radio out and there is nowhere to fit it to the rear? Is there anyway I can connect my iPhone to the original HU by using an aux cable? (Like is there an adapter in the glove box or somewhere that I just haven't seen?

is it the jack lead with the green plug at the end? if so then it wont fit to a standard stereo, only the the update list version.
